Arts Outlet – Summer Program by The Family Advocates Canada

Arts Outlet is a vibrant, weekly summer experience designed to awaken creativity and nurture self-expression in children entering Grades 1 through 6 (Fall 2026). Hosted at The Family Haven @ Kipling Square – Annex, Suite 180, 611 10th Ave, Calgary, this program invites children into a safe, joyful, and imaginative space where their ideas, voices, and creativity can flourish.

Throughout the week, participants will explore a wide variety of expressive arts. From drawing and painting to collage storytelling, poetry circles, clay-making, and body-and-mind movement, each day is thoughtfully curated to spark curiosity and build confidence. Children will not only create but also connect with themselves, their peers, and with creativity. Intentional game times from Monday to Thursday add fun, movement, and opportunities for teamwork and social bonding.

Fridays offer a special experience: Library Day, where children will visit the inspiring and artistic environment of the Calgary Central Library, an exploration of creativity beyond the classroom walls.

Please note: All activities are subject to change.
